I CAN'T

Who said I can't?

I need further clarification

because the last time I checked,

I didn't need verification

for my goals, my dreams & my visualizations

for the finer things.

So who said I can't?

.

Tell them to recheck their sources

because my mind, my body & my spirit

are 3 ultimate forces.

I've went to school & I've completed my courses.

I've also roamed the streets cause that's where my source is.

In school I was forceless

cause I was forced to do that & this

& to the streets I seemed to be pretentious

cause I've grown to become so conscientious.

For a while I became so confused I was living reckless.

I had so many moments where I told myself

"your gonna regret this"

But at some point I said

Forget This!

& in this struggle for success I have become relentless.

.

I can feel the greatness flowing through my veins & I deserve it after all my pains.

I fought for my crown, so I CAN'T put it down.

I came way too far to turn back now.

My conscious self is who I have found.

.

I have discovered the goddess within me.

I have discovered my purpose & with all of these gifts

that God has sent me, I am reassured of what my worth is.

So don't tell me I can't,

because I say that I can.
